Meet Kelsey
Growing up, I was constantly using my creative mind by rearranging my bedroom, window shopping, & flipping through paint swatches for fun. That early desire for design and creativity led me to design school and graduating from Ensign College with an AAS Degree in Interior Design. With over 9 years of experience working in the field — doing everything from a furniture sales associate, carpet & wood flooring specialist, managing a design firm, and organizing a new brick & mortar — I took the leap as an independent designer in 2017 which resulted in Alika Design being born.
“Helping my clients discover what home means to them is what I love most about being an Interior Designer”
Coming from a Scandinavian background, I have a deep love for clean lines, bold accents & natural elements.
My favorite places to find inspiration are through traveling the world with my family, being outdoors, thumbing through magazines and admiring the world through my two children eyes. I will never say no to a milkshake or a new pillow cover, two things I believe you can never have enough of.
At Alika Design we believe in creating a home that is meaningful, livable, and elevated. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story!
Alika
derived from African roots, translates to, "the most beautiful." Our goal at Alika is to help you discover what home feels like for you.
Our Team
Learn more about the wonderful team members behind Alika Design!
-
Our junior designer is side by side with Kelsey as she assists in project management, on site visits, organizing client files and making selections throughout the design process.
-
She keeps our systems and processes in check as we go through the design process with clients from onboarding to leading the team on install day. In addition to professional client drawings and renderings, we wouldn't run the same without her.
-
There is just as much to be done on the back end as there is on the creative face of Interior Design. She is an expert in organizing technical documents, drawings and sourcing.
-
Co-owner, book keeper, Kelsey's husband, and so much more -- he is the one holding us all together.
